The Anne Roy Initiative brings students into direct conversation with the people who make professional motorsport work.
Founder
Anne Roy is one of Canadian motorsport’s most respected and connected leaders. Over more than three decades she has worked at nearly every level of the sport, from media and communications to executive leadership and race operations.
She was the first woman to lead an IndyCar event in Canada and was inducted into the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame in 2020. Her career includes senior communications roles in Formula Atlantic, General Manager of the Edmonton IndyCar race, Communications Director for Lotus’s IndyCar program, and Special Consultant for the Formula E race in Montreal. The Anne Roy Initiative turns that experience and industry network into practical access for the next generation.

Sky Sports Formula 1 strategy analyst and former Aston Martin F1 strategy engineer. She spent years on the pit wall making the calls that win and lose races, and now explains them to millions on live television. Students heard how that career was built and put their own questions to her.
IndyCar
IndyCar emergency medicine physician and engineer. She treats drivers at the track and works on the safety systems built to protect them before a crash ever happens. Students heard how those two sides of the job inform each other, and asked their own questions.
