Five season-long internships.
Fourteen students from Ontario Tech University and ÉTS Montréal opened the season at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. Five went on to complete season-long internships with FEL Motorsports in the Emzone Radical Cup Canada presented by Michelin, working in technical compliance, pit lane officiating, data analysis and communications. Entrusted with real responsibility, they learned the sport alongside the people who run it.

Fifty students across five universities.
Students from Polytechnique Montréal, ÉTS Montréal, HEC Montréal, McGill and Concordia went inside the F1 Academy paddock. They also heard from Bernadette “Bernie” Collins, Sky Sports Formula 1 strategy analyst and former F1 strategy engineer, who spoke about her path to Formula 1 and took questions from the group.
Markham · August 14–16
IndyCar from the inside.
Students from the University of Toronto, Ontario Tech University and École de technologie supérieure went inside the engineering office at Chip Ganassi Racing, where 2026 series champion Alex Palou’s race strategy is decided. They met engineering and team leaders from Meyer Shank Racing and Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing, along with IndyCar officials, medical and safety teams, communications leads, and Cara Krstolic, Chief Engineer of Motorsports at Bridgestone Americas. Rooms like these are closed to almost everyone at a race weekend. For three days, they weren’t.
